Amanda on Top, Twins Below stacks a still photograph of a young girl astride a horse, over an uptilted monitor with underwater footage of twins playing in a swimming pool. This piece examines the “performative” construction of gender in children as a means to examine fantasy, identity, and pleasure in the adult viewer.
